Capcom has confirmed that the Resident Evil Village demo has been extended to a week. Before, the 60 minutes of gameplay were limited to a 24-hour window. Check out the dates for each region below.

During the Resident Evil showcase, Capcom revealed that a classic Resident Evil mode is coming the game, namely "The Mercenaries", which is an arcade-style game mode that focuses more on fast-paced action than on stealthy encounters. Players must reach the goal in a level in a specific amount of time and if they do, they will get rewards.
They are also some new features coming to the mode, like accessing the shop, collecting money, purchasing weapons and other equipment, customizing your weapons, and equipping power-ups and abilities.
Capcom also announced that a new demo for Resident Evil Village is on its way and that it is coming to all platforms, although PlayStation players will get early access. The demo is slated to last one hour for the multiplatform demo, 30 minutes for the castle demo, and 30 minutes for the village demo on PlayStation. PS5 and PS4 players can already preload the demo today.
