During the Resident Evil showcase, Capcom released the first official gameplay trailer for Resident Evil Village. The video shows protagonist Ethan Winters, a giant vampire lady, and the new crafting and inventory system. Players will be able to craft first aid kits, ammo and much more. Watch the gameplay footage below.
The video also gives a first look at the Resident Evil maiden demo which is a PS5-exclusive beta (available today!) that allows you to dive into the game right now. Ethan Winters is not a playable character in the demo. Players will slip into the role of the "Maiden" who has to find a way out of the spooky castle. There will be no combat in this demo because its is tailored to show off the games' graphics and audio power.
Capcom also announced that there will be a separate demo for all platforms later this spring.
