In November, Capcom had been the victim of a ransomware attack. Now the hackers leaked more information because the publisher refused to meet their demands, apparently. Cutscenes, enemies, boss fights, characters, the ending, and other major plot spoilers have been leaked online. Game Customs will neither detail the leak here nor disclose where to find the leaked information.
Original story from November 16, 2020:
Capcom's plans for new games as well as corporate secrets, sales reports, personal and financial information and source codes of a few games were leaked by a ransomware attack.
According to the leaks, Resident Evil Village will be released in April 2021 and apparently there is also a battle royale multiplayer Resident Evil game underway.
Take all of this with a grain of salt because some of the leaked information appears to be from 2018, so the company's plans might have changed until now. Capcom did not comment on the leaked information. The publisher only confirmed that there had been a ransomware attack.
