New gameplay for Resident Evil 6, Capcom reveals community service Resident Evil.net

 
Publisher Capcom has shown a new video at the gamescom and announced that there will a community service.






Capcom has shown off some new intense gameplay of the game. The level is called Snow-Covered Mountain and in it Jake Muller and Sherry Birkin are trapped in a cabin that is attacked by enemies. In the end an avalanche hits the cabin while the two try to escape. Watch the video below.

Capcom has announced Resident Evil.net, which is a community service for Resident Evil 6. The service is set for the PC and it displays information and statistics on weapons use, enemies killed, gameplay progress, Mercenaries high scores, real-time gameplay progress and much more.

The community can unlock new in-game content by meeting objectives and challenges like killing 10,000 zombies in a weekend. The service supports a cuurency called RE Points which you can earn while playing via Resident Evil.net. You can buy unlockable extras, minifigures and other items.

Resident Evil.net shows the players campaign progress and collects all mission files and story points. The community service is free and it will be available when the game releases.
