Ubisoft has announced a new IP with a E3 trailer, gameplay demo and screens.
Ubisoft has announced a new IP at the E3 2012 press event. The new game is called Watch_Dogs, a third-person shooter which is developed by Ubisoft Montreal. The game will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2013. This was announced via Twitter: “The game will be released in 2013 and will be released on PC and consoles.”
It takes place in the summer of 2003, where an employee unleashed a virus on New York during a blackout. The city is then controlled by a computer which is controlled by a corporation. The computer controls everything everyone does or thinks, all inhabitants are linked to this system. Players can control the surveillance system of the city in the game, so the weapon is the computer system and therefore the whole city when the system is used correctly.
