God of War: Ascension was announced several days ago. Here's the debut teaser and some shots of the new game.
Sony announced God of War: Ascension almost two weeks ago. The game will be again developed by Sony Santa Monica for PS3. The new game leads the player back to the “origins of Kratos as he takes his first steps on a now legendary quest for freedom”. Watch the first trailer below as well as the packshot and the logo.
Ascension seems to be a prequel to all of the released God of War games. So it is set even before Kratos became the Ghost of Sparta. "Join Kratos as he seeks freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitious God of War adventure in the series so far", reads the description from the developer. The game is set to release in 2013.
