The Content Collection 2 includes new maps, new spec ops missions and a new multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Face Off Mode features small, intense battles with maps for groups of one versus one or two versus two. The maps are therefore smaller and the amount of players on each map is limited. One map is called Aground (a shipwreck off the coast of Scotland) and the other is Erosion (skirmishing in the ruins below an erupting Mount Vesuvius). Those maps will release for free on May 15.
The second Content Collection also includes the Getaway map, a beachside mansion in Brazil, and Lookout, an observation post in Afghanistan. The Sanctuary and Foundation maps can also be found in the collection along with the new beach resort romp called Oasis.
The spec ops missions are Ironclad (from the solo campaign’s Hamburg mission). Killswitch is a map in a Russian dockyard. The Content Collection # 2 will be available for Xbox 360 on May 22 2012. There is no release date for PS3 and PC yet.
