A third Inside Recon video shows the Guerilla multiplayer mode and Ubisoft announced the details of the beta.
Ubisoft finally announced more details concerning the multiplayer beta of the shooter. Players who own Splinter Cell: Conviction or who have pre-ordered the game can play the beta beginning on April 12th 2012 on Xbox 360 and on PS3. The beta ends on May 2 2012.
In the beta up to 12 players can choose between three classes Rifleman, Engineer and Scout and there will be two maps Pipeline and Mill (screenshots below). Players may also customise their character and choose between two modes Conflict and Saboteur.
Conflict
- players battle to complete objectives located throughout the map and earn points, the team with the most points at the end of the round wins
- Game session: 1 round of 15 minutes
- a bomb spawns in a central location, both teams compete to retrieve the bomb and be the first to detonate it at the opposing team’s base
- Game session: 1 round of 10 minutes
