New details concerning the upcoming Rockstar game have beend revealed by a former employee of the developer.

New information concerning Grand Theft Auto V has been revealed by a former Rockstar North employee. While the poster of the details remains uncertain, there is also no confirmation from Rockstar Games regarding the certainty of the details. The information surfaced when a "friend" of the former employee revealed the details on the Gamestop forums.

According to the source, Grand Theft Auto V will have one playable character, Albert de Silva, who is also featured in the first trailer. He is part of a criminal group from Vice City and half Hispanic. He has a son named Kevin who the source claims to be a “stereotypical CoD player” who is “lazy, useless and shouts racial abuse online”. Albert will not die at the end of the game.

The map is divided into three districts and it will be five times larger as GTA IV. Los Santos, as seen in the trailer, is half of the map’s area. The player can use weapons and drive cars and planes which all will be customisable.

The multiplayer mode will support 32 players on consoles, the amount of players in the PC version remains to be confirmed. Players can form gangs and there will also be a ranking system which shows the gangs reputation. Gangs may also perform tasks like robbing a laundry or stealing weapons from the military. The members within a gang can also be ranked by the gang leader who can set up specific tasks for the members.

According to the source, Grand Theft Auto V will be released in May 2013 and there might be a playable demo at E3 2012. Read more over on RipTen.
