Endlich gibt es eine Bestätigung, dass das neue Spiel nur auf Xbox LIVE Arcade erscheinen wird. Einen geleakten Screen vom Menü gibt es auch zu sehen.
Jetzt wurde bestätigt, dass das neue Spiel nur auf Xbox LIVE Arcade erscheinen wird und “fully standalone” vom Original-Spiel sein wird, das im Mai 2010 in den Handel kam. “We can confirm that this new “Alan Wake” game will be a fully standalone experience and released on Xbox LIVE.” Leider ist noch nicht bekannt, ob das Spiel nun wirklich den Titel Alan Wake: Night Springs tragen wird.
Remedy Entertainment sagte jetzt, dass das neue Alan Wake-Spiel zwar nur bei Xbox LIVE Arcade verfügbar sein wird, aber trotzdem wie ein voller Release ausgelegt ist.
Remedy Community Boss Peter Papadopoulos sagte: “It’s structured like a full release complete with a pretty damn impressive storyline that expands the originals in some interesting ways. I really enjoyed it so I’m sure you all will too!” Studio CEO Markus Maki fügte hinzu: “‘Don’t you give you value for money…’ Heh. Oh, ye of little faith.”
Jetzt ist zudem noch ein Screen von Menü-Bildschirm des Spiels aufgetaucht. Dort wird der neue Titel Alan Wake: Night Springs genannrt und es gibt eine Optione mit dem Titel "Arcade Action". Hier ist das Bild.
