Es gibt ein paar neue Infos zum meisterwarteten Spiel. Demnach wird GTA5 MotionScan enthalten.
Team Bondi Boss Brendan McNamara, Entwickler von L.A. Noire, meint, dass Rockstar Games MotionScan Grand Theft Auto V integrieren wird.
“Yeah, I think they’re looking at it for every game,” sagte er in einem Interview, als er gefragt, was für das nächste GTA geplant ist. “As much as LA Noire is a huge game, Grand Theft Auto is incredibly huge, so you’ve got all the problems of how big the cast would be and how many lines would you have to record and all that kind of stuff. Obviously we’d like them to, and they’re more than welcome to use MotionScan, but if they decide it’s not right for that and want to use it for another game, then that’s fine too. Rockstar will make those decisions. They generally make the right decisions in terms of what they do for their games.”

Der britische Händler Gamestation, der zur großen Handelskette GAME Group gehört, hat Grand Theft Auto 5 schon in sein Sortiment aufgenommen, obowohl das Spiel noch nicht einmal offiziell enthüllt wurde. Mit dem Vorverkauf hat Gamestation auch schon begonnen. Dies belegte ein Kassenbon vom 1. Juli 2011. Jedoch wurde der Vorverkauf jetzt beendet. Gamestation hatte auch einen Release-Termin für GTA 5 angegeben. Dies war der Januar 2012. Somit ist ziemlich klar, dass die Entwicklung des Spiels schon in vollem Gange ist.
