Executive Producer Nathan Camarillo von Crytek hat bekannt gegeben, dass es möglicherweise auch eine PS3-Demo geben wird und dass man mit Zusatzinhalten rechnen kann.
In einem Interview hat Nathan Camarillo, der Executive Producer von Crysis 2, einige interessante Infos zum Spiel preisgegeben. "We want as many people to play Crysis 2 as possible. I can’t say anything too specific … we haven’t announced [the demo] yet.”Bis jetzt haben schon Xbox 360-Spieler das Spiel anhand von einer Multiplayer-Demo testen können. Die PC-Demo soll am 1.03.2011 erscheinen.
Im Bezug auf Zusatzcontents zu Crysis 2, sagte Camarillo, dass der Entwickler bereits an DLCs arbeite.
“You can imagine we will [support Crysis 2 with downloadable content],” said Camarillo. It’s a big game and there’s a lot of fun to be had, so you can imagine we’re doing some [DLC], but I can’t say specifically what it is yet.”Er fügte außerdem hinzu, dass es keine Unterschiede zwischen der PS3- und der Xbox 360-Version gibt.
“People can try to find them [disparities], but they won’t find anything. hey both run great, they both play great whether you’re playing single-player or multiplayer — they’re identical offerings. The quality is outstanding on both of them; there’s really no difference.”
