EA und Visceral Games haben endlich die Demo zum Horror-Spiel angekündigt - und ja, sie kommt vor Weihnachten.
Jetzt ist es offiziell: Dead Space 2 wird eine spielbare Demoversion erhalten, die am 21.12.2010 (bzw. am 22.12.2010 für PSN-Member aus Europa) erscheint. Das sind 5 Wochen vor dem Release des Hauptspiels am 28.01.2011 für PS3, Xbox 360 und PC.
Producer Steve Papoutsis meint: “The DS2 demo will allow players to control Issac as he gets access to a variety of new tools that Isaac can use to fight Necromorphs, including the new Javelin gun, updated stasis recharge mechanic and enhanced telekinesis ability. You’ll also experience the advanced suit, equipped with jets that will allow Isaac full 3600 control in Zero-G space. The holidays are a great time to enjoy all forms of entertainment, and we can’t wait to give horror and action adventure gamers a taste of what awaits them in Dead Space 2. Releasing the demo five weeks before launch will not only re-connect players with our hero Isaac Clarke, but will also give them the opportunity to experience firsthand various jaw-dropping scenarios. It’s gonna be awesome.”
Leider wird es keine Demo für PC-Spieler geben, das wurde jetzt bestätigt. Die Probierversion steht also nur für PS3- und Xbox 360-Spieler zur Verfügung.
