Beyond: Two Souls gets "Dual Mode", will have tablet and phone controls
David Cage from Quantic Dream has announced a so-called “Dual Mode” for two players.
When playing alone, the player can switch between Jodie, the protagonist, and Aiden, who is a ghost. Dual Mode is all about shifting control of Aiden to a second player. Two players won’t be able to play as Jodie and Aiden simultaneously, though. Dual Mode means that whenever control is shifted to Aiden, the player in control of Jodie will have to wait for their turn.
Beyond: Two Souls will have a phone and tablet functionality which is called “Beyond Touch” and requires players to download an app that lets them perform every action in the game via their device’s touch screen. In Dual Mode, both players can use their phone or tablet.
