The Last of Us multiplayer mode revealed, first details and screens

 
Developer Naughty Dog has finally revealed the multiplayer mode and released some screens. 

The Last of Us multiplayer mode is called ‘Factions’ and it has two game modes. Players can choose between two human factions from the game’s single-player campaign. Each character can be customized with clothing, gear and hats, like in Uncharted 3.

There will be AI survivors and matches between two survivor clans can be played out across many days and weeks. Every match played counts as a day. The player can craft items online and collect resources to survive.

There are four load-outs called assault, sniper, support and stealth, with four slots. You can equip your character with a small weapon, a large weapon and two special skills. One skill is called Covert Training 2, which makes your character invisible when other players use the listen mode, which lets them look through walls.
