Since Ubisoft has not released new information, the question of the games existence is up.
Rainbow Six: Patriots pre-orders at GameStop have been removed. This could either mean that the tactical shooter has been cancelled or that Ubisoft is working on a version for the next-gen consoles. GameStop is the only retailer that is not taking pre-orders for the game, you can still pre-order Patriots over on Amazon.
Rumors also appeared that mention that Ubisoft is still working on the new Rainbow Six game. The team is aiming for a release on next generation consoles.
