EA and DICE have detailed the release date for the shooter and the first expansion.
Battlefield 4 will get a deluxe edition for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC with some bonus items. The game comes in a steelbook, with a pair of Battlefield 4 dogtags as well as the first DLC expansion China Rising. Here's the description: “Fight for dominance across the vast and majestic Chinese mainland in four massive maps, using all-new vehicles and high-tech military equipment.”
EA also announced that he shooter will release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 29 in North America and on November 1 in Europe. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will be available later.
