Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is the next game in the franchise and will be fully revealed at a later date by Ubisoft. Check out the box art and some teaser screens here.
Ubisoft said in a statement: “We confirm that Ubisoft will announce all the details of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag on Monday March 4th at 5pm GMT.”
The official website of the game states: “Also coming to next-gen systems” which indicated a PS4 and next Xbox release. It will also be available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The website also mentions the release date - October 29th 2013. The publisher also said that the PS3 edition contains over 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay.
The premiere trailer for Black Flag was leaked on youtube but is now pulled. The trailer showed the pirate Blackbeard telling a tale of a new pirate captain describing his combat powers as "fighting like a devil dressed like a man". That devil man is Black Flag's protagonist.
