The publisher EA is said to be showing the game behind closed doors.
EA and DICE are showing off the new Battlefield game behind closed doors, according to this tweet: “Got to see Battlefield 4 today and all I can say is wow. Thanks EA for the sneak peek. Can’t wait for you all to see it,” said GameStop CEO J Paul Raines commented via Twitter.
The tweet has not been deleted and EA has retweeted it which shows that both companies are comfortable with releasing this information. Battlefield 4 or whatever it is called is no secret anymore because EA wants to release a new shooter every year.
It will be interesting to see on what hardware the DICE game will launch on because EA said that is has a next-gen Battlefield in the works.
The new game might release during the fiscal year 2014 which means from March 2013 onwards. Battlefield 3 was released in October 2011 - maybe thats when BF4 will launch too, in winter 2013.
