Publisher Activision has noted that the next Call of Duty will release at the end of this year.
Activision will continue the trend of releasing a new Call of Duty game each year although the publisher could not say if the game will release for the new consoles. No platforms or a specific release date were announced but Call of Duty 10, as its the tenth game in the franchise, will release in the fourth quarter of 2013.
