Captain Price's voice actor Bill Murray let slip the game’s development at Infinity Ward.
Murray said: “Yeah, on Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4, I’m doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on and I only ever appear in the Modern Warfare games…”
Infinity Ward has denied the rumors, saying that the developer “hasn’t spoken with any voice actors” and that “all news” on the matter is “speculation”. The developer said that the voice actor isn't involved in any work yet: “Interesting news today, but it’s not true. We’ve not talked with any voice actors, so all news is speculation.”
But Infinity Ward has not denied the existence of the game itself.
