Next Call of Duty game might release on current consoles and next-gen consoles

According to a developer resume of Infinity Ward, the next game in the Call of Duty series is a multi-console-generation title.

The resume of Infinity Ward’s lead engineer and project manager, Andrew Aye, suggests that the next title in the shooter series will release on both console generations. According to the resume, the developer is working on an “unannounced title”, this could be Modern Warfare 4 which might be released next year. This new game is set to release on PS3, Xbox 360, PC DX11 and “TBA” which could mean Wii U or the next console from Sony or Microsoft.

Andrew Aye is responsible for “support game and engine development” and he is “responsible for setting technical direction and design for a new high-end DX11 code base”. This concludes that Infinity Wards next game will “be an entirely different game from the current-generation versions, as was the case for Call of Duty 2”.
