Ubisoft said that the new Rainbow Six shooter is still in the works at the studio in Montreal.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Rainbow Six: Patriots is still in development at Ubisoft Montreal. Ubisoft marketing VP Tony Key said that the upcoming game is still in the works although nothing new was shown at the E3 2012 in L.A. this week.
“Let’s just say that Rainbow 6 is still in active development but what we decided was that the best thing for the brand was to not bring it to the show right now. We have a lot of other games that we want to focus people on and there will be more information on Rainbow coming.” When asked if Patriots had shuffled to next-gen, Key added: “This is the only generation [PS3/360] that I know about, so I would assume yes.”
