Two video interviews for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

There are two new video interviews for Black Ops II which you can watch below.

The first video is about the futuristic setting which all comes down to a human conflict. “The main villain is not a robot. The main villain is not a drone. The main villain is a human,” says Daniel Suarez from Activision. The villain is Raul Menendez who is shaped by the happenings of the Cold War. “The Cold War was really fertile ground for us,” Suarez said. Treyarch used this era for the first Black Ops game which inspired the a future setting.

The second video is about the Strike force missions, the plot and the engine. Treyarch has modified the engine which is why the PC version of Black Ops 2 can support DirectX 11. “We have re-engineered our engine so that it takes advantage of the efficiencies that DX 11 provides,” says studio head Mark Lamia from Treyarch. “We’ve worked on our graphics system, the game looks phenomenal on the PC. It’s important to us. We’ve been working on our anti-cheat systems. We really wanna protect the integrity of the experience that people have online.”
