Mass Effect 3 voice actors record new dialogue for Extended Cut

Three of the games main voice actors confirm that there will be new dialogue in the Extended Cut.

At least three of Mass Effect 3′s voice cast will return for Mass Effect 3′s Extended Cut. Lance Henriksen, playing Admiral Hackett, has begun recording new dialogue. “I just did another session with them. They were saying there’s a little bit of a problem with the abruptness of the ending. So we did a whole series of things to add to the end of the game, to live up to the quality they’ve been doing.”

Tricia Helfer, the voice of EDI, will also return for the Extended Cut as well as Raphael Sbarge as Kaidan Alenko. “Just when you thought I would never go back, they keep pulling me back in Mass Effect. Recording,” Sbarge said.

The Extended Cut of Mass Effect 3 will be released as a free DLC. Bioware aims at clarifying the end of the story.
