Ubisoft gab bekannt, dass das kommende Spiel, vermeintlich Assassins Creed 3, das bisher größter der gesamten Reihe wird.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot sprach jetzt über den kommenden Assassins Creed-Titel und über die Fortsetzung des Franchises. Außerdem ist er nicht der meinte, dass ein neues Spiel in jedem Jahr die Qualität der Reihe mindern würde.
“Assassin’s Creed is an incredible franchise and there are a lot of expectations that it will continue to grow. We are pleased with our continued success so far: in the US, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations was a Top Ten title for the entire calendar year, which shows that the demand is definitely there,” so Guillemot.
“We think that delivering regular instalments and expanding the brand to other platforms will continue to satisfy the demand, while at the same time attracting new fans. And we’re confident that the next instalment of Assassin’s Creed will be the biggest to date,” sagte er auf mcvuk.com.
Wann das neue Spiel dieses Jahr erscheint ist noch unklar, dennoch kann man schon fast fest mit einem Release im November rechnen. So wie es aussieht, wir Ubisoft auch nach 2012 noch weitere AC-Spiele auf den Markt bringen.
