Entwickler Day 1 Studios sprach jetzt über den Mehrspieler-Teil von Fear 3.
Der Associate Producer des Horror-Spiels, Jason Frederick, sprach jetzt über den Multiplayer-Part des kommenden dritten Teils. Er sagte, dass das Spiel keine traditionellen Multiplayer-Modi enthält, damit eine einzigartige Erfahrung entsteht.
“We have four different multiplayer modes, and we deliberately and consciously tossed out deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag,” sagte Frederick. “We got rid of those game modes. You can pick up any shooter these days and you can play deathmatch. There are some people who are a little bit upset about this, but ultimately, it’s better for our particular game because we’ve created multiplayer modes now that you can only get from F.E.A.R. 3. So you decide to play one of these multiplayer modes, you can only pick up F.E.A.R. 3. You can’t pick up any other game and get these.”
Drei der vier Multiplayer-Modi von F.E.A.R. 3 wurden bis jetzt anhand von Trailern vorgestellt: Contractions, Soul King und Fucking Run. Der vierte Trailer zu Soul Survivor wird warscheinlich noch veröffentlicht. Hier findet ihr das Fear 3-Interview mit Frederick.
